The International Journal of Computing and Digital Systems (IJCDS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality research papers, review articles, and surveys in the fields of computer science, information systems, and computer/electrical engineering. The journal has been published by the University of Bahrain since 2012 and has continued successfully through 2025, with all volumes indexed by Scopus.
IJCDS began with a publication model of three issues per volume per year, and due to increasing demand and submission rates, the number of issues gradually increased. From Volume 5 to Volume 9, the journal published six issues per volume per year. Starting with Volume 10, IJCDS adopted a continuous volume production model, allowing articles to be published online as soon as they are ready. From Volume 11 in 2022 onwards, the journal has published two continuous volumes per year, with each volume released as a complete and separate issue.
The aim of IJCDS is to provide a reputable platform for researchers and scholars to disseminate their original research and review work. The journal actively encourages submissions that present recent developments, emerging trends, and innovative contributions across computing and engineering disciplines. All published articles are freely accessible to the public, supporting the global exchange of knowledge.
